Ingredients

For the Cauliflower

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

For the Dipping Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. While the cauliflower cooks, whisk together all dipping sauce ingredients until smooth.
  8. Serve the hot crispy cauliflower with the creamy dipping sauce and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Tips

  • For extra crunch, add 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan to the coating.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy version.
