Ingredients
For the Cauliflower
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
For the Dipping Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the cauliflower cooks, whisk together all dipping sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Serve the hot crispy cauliflower with the creamy dipping sauce and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Tips
- For extra crunch, add 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan to the coating.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy version.
