Nopales Green Drink Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 medium nopal (cactus pad), cleaned and de-spined
  • 1 cup water
  • Juice of 1 lime or lemon
  • ½ cucumber (optional)
  • A few mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the nopal thoroughly and remove any spines if needed.
  2. Cut into small pieces.
  3. Add the nopal, water, lime juice, and optional cucumber or mint to a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
  6. Serve over ice and enjoy.
