For the Sliders:
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground chuck)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count, like Pillsbury Grands)
- 2 tbsp pickles (optional, diced or sliced)
- 2 tbsp ketchup or burger sauce (optional)
For the Topping (optional but tasty):
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried parsley or chives
Instructions
:
- Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Cook the Beef Filling:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted and combined.
- Prepare the Biscuits:
- Split each biscuit in half horizontally (like opening a sandwich bun), creating 16 thin rounds.
- Place 8 of them on the bottom of the baking dish. Press slightly to widen.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Spoon the beef-cheese mixture evenly onto the bottom biscuit halves.
- Add a small dollop of ketchup or pickles on top if desired.
- Cover each with the top biscuit half and gently press down.
- Add Topping (optional):
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool slightly, then serve warm!
