Cheesy Beef Biscuit Sliders

Ingredients

:

For the Sliders:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground chuck)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
  • 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count, like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 2 tbsp pickles (optional, diced or sliced)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup or burger sauce (optional)

For the Topping (optional but tasty):

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley or chives

Instructions

:

  1. Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the Beef Filling:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
    • Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
    • Drain excess fat if needed.
    • Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted and combined.
  3. Prepare the Biscuits:
    • Split each biscuit in half horizontally (like opening a sandwich bun), creating 16 thin rounds.
    • Place 8 of them on the bottom of the baking dish. Press slightly to widen.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Spoon the beef-cheese mixture evenly onto the bottom biscuit halves.
    • Add a small dollop of ketchup or pickles on top if desired.
    • Cover each with the top biscuit half and gently press down.
  5. Add Topping (optional):
    • Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
    • Brush the tops of the biscuits.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Cool slightly, then serve warm!

Tips

:

  • You can swap in cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Try using pepper jack or mozzarella for a fun cheese twist.
  • Make it spicy with a dash of hot sauce or jalapeños.
