Ingredients (Makes about 24 cookies)
- 2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar
- ½ cup (100g) white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups (250g) chocolate chips

- Preheat oven
180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. - Cream butter & sugars
Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes). - Add eggs & vanilla
Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. - Combine
Gradually add dry ingredients. Do not overmix.
Fold in chocolate chips. - Chill (Important!)
Chill dough for 30–60 minutes for thicker, chewier cookies. - Bake
Scoop dough balls onto tray (leave space).
Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but center looks slightly soft. - Cool
Let rest 5 minutes on tray before transferring.
