3-Ingredient Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but highly recommended)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix:
    • Self-rising flour
    • Heavy cream
    • Cheese (if using)
      Stir until just combined (don’t overmix).
  3. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet (no need to shape perfectly).
  4. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown on top.

✨ Optional upgrades

  • Brush tops with melted butter + garlic powder after baking
  • Add herbs (parsley, chives) for extra flavor
  • Sprinkle a little extra cheese on top before baking

⚠️ No self-rising flour?

Use this substitute:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
