5-Minute Coconut Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of instant coconut cake mix (or any cake mix you like)
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, combine the coconut cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  3. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased cake pan or a microwave-safe dish. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cake is golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Prepare the topping: While the cake is baking, in a small saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Add in the coconut flakes and stir until the coconut is evenly distributed. Keep this topping warm.
  5. Assemble: Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and while it’s still warm, pour the coconut and condensed milk mixture over the cake.
  6. Let it set: Let the cake sit for a few minutes so the topping soaks in.
