Tropical Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 2–3 mandarins or clementines, peeled
  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cups water
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the pineapple, papaya, mandarins, ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water to a large pot.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–30 minutes.
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Blend until smooth.
  6. Strain if desired for a smoother drink.
  7. Sweeten with honey if desired.
  8. Chill and serve cold, or enjoy warm.

Storage

  • Refrigerate in sealed bottles or jars for up to 3–4 days.
  • Shake well before serving.

Notes

This drink is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and natural fruit flavors. While ingredients such as pineapple, papaya, and ginger can be part of a healthy diet, drinks like this are not proven cures for diseases and should not replace medical treatment.
