Ingredients
- 1 medium pineapple, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 2–3 mandarins or clementines, peeled
- 1–2 inches fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cups water
- 1–2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Instructions
- Add the pineapple, papaya, mandarins, ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water to a large pot.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–30 minutes.
- Remove the cinnamon sticks.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain if desired for a smoother drink.
- Sweeten with honey if desired.
- Chill and serve cold, or enjoy warm.
Storage
- Refrigerate in sealed bottles or jars for up to 3–4 days.
- Shake well before serving.
Notes
