- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
- 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (plain or panko)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish. - Prepare the shrimp:
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish. - Make the sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, wine (or broth), red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. - Pour and top:
Pour the mixture evenly over the shrimp.
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and parsley; sprinkle this evenly on top. - Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the topping is golden brown. - Serve:
Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges.
Serve over pasta, rice, or with toasted baguette slices.
