Crazy Dough

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    In a small bowl, mix the warm milk with the instant yeast and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes bubbly and frothy.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, olive oil, and the yeast mixture. Stir to combine until the dough begins to come together.
  3. Knead the Dough:
    Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-8 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little extra flour as needed.
  4. Let it Rise:
    Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and cover it with a clean towel. Let it rise for 1-2 hours in a warm place, or until it doubles in size.
  5. Use the Dough:
    Once the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it as needed for your recipe. This dough is incredibly versatile—use it for pizzas, breadsticks, rolls, or even pastries!
