Best Chocolate cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water (or coffee for a richer taste)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

For the Chocolate Glaze:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Cake:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan or cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the milk and water (or coffee) and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Chocolate Glaze:

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth and glossy.
  3. Pour the glaze over the cooled cake, letting it drip down the sides for a beautiful effect.
