Keto Lemon Mousse: A Delicious and Easy Treat for Beginners

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered erythritol or keto sweetener
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional topping: whipped cream + extra lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream
    • In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with a mixer until soft peaks form.
    • Set aside.
  2. Mix the base
    • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add sweetener, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla.
    • Mix until creamy.
  3. Combine
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mixture.
    • Mix slowly to keep it light and fluffy.
  4. Chill
    • Spoon into serving glasses.
    • Refrigerate 30–60 minutes.
  5. Serve
    • Top with whipped cream and lemon zest if desired.
