Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the topping
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- Optional: sesame seeds or parsley
Instructions
- Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. - Make the dough
Add egg, melted butter, oil, and salt. Gradually add flour and mix until a soft dough forms. - Knead
Knead for about 8–10 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. - First rise
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size. - Shape the rolls
Divide the dough into small equal balls and place them in a greased baking dish. - Second rise
Cover and let the rolls rise again for 20–30 minutes. - Add butter
Pour melted butter over the rolls as shown in the image. - Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden and fluffy.
