Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup (120 ml) milk
  • ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Topping

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla, then mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  6. Fold in the sliced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into the baking pan.
  8. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  9. Bake for 35–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.

🍰 Tips

  • Add raisins or chopped walnuts for extra flavor.
  • A little lemon zest makes the apple flavor brighter.
