Cheesy Ham & Herb Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley or mixed herbs
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and herbs.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded cheese, diced ham, and green onions.
  5. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve warm with butter or your favorite dipping sauce.

Optional Add-Ins

  • Crispy bacon bits
  • Jalapeños for heat
  • Parmesan cheese on top
  • Chopped chives or parsley for extra flavor

Tips

  • Use very cold butter for fluffier biscuits.
  • Sharp cheddar gives the best cheesy flavor.
  • These freeze well and can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
