Ingredients:
For the filling:
- 200 g milk chocolate (or dark, your choice)
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
For the coating:
- 200 g chocolate (milk or dark)
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts or crispy bits (optional, for texture)
Instructions:
- Make the filling
- Heat the cream until just warm (don’t boil).
- Pour over chopped chocolate.
- Let sit 1–2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Add butter and vanilla, mix well.
- Chill
- Pour mixture into a lined dish.
- Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
- Shape
- Cut into bars or roll into logs like in the picture.
- Coat
- Melt the coating chocolate.
- Dip each piece until fully covered.
- Sprinkle nuts if desired.
- Set
- Place on parchment paper and let set at room temp or in the fridge.
✨ Tips:
- For a lighter texture, whip the ganache slightly before chilling.
- Add crushed biscuits or hazelnuts inside for extra crunch.
- Keep refrigerated for best texture.
