Cinnamon Roll Cake with Vanilla Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick / 115 g) melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter.
  5. Mix until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients until smooth.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture over the cake batter.
  3. Use a knife to swirl it through the batter to create the cinnamon pattern.

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

🍦 Vanilla Glaze

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk everything together until smooth.
  2. Pour over the warm cake so it melts slightly into the cake.
