Crispy Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness and flavor)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Dipping sauce (such as ranch or a spicy mayo, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  2. Prepare the cauliflower:
    Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets. Make sure the pieces are similar in size so they cook evenly.
  3. Season the cauliflower:
    In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated. If you’re using Parmesan, you can mix it in at this stage as well.
  4. Roast the cauliflower:
    Arrange the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced out to allow for crispiness.
    Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the cooking time to ensure even roasting.
  5. Garnish and serve:
    Once crispy, remove the cauliflower from the oven. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
    Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, spicy mayo, or a yogurt-based sauce.
