Instructions:
Cold Version (No-bake – great as a spread):
- In a medium bowl, combine:
- Shredded Jarlsberg cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Sour cream
- Green onions
- Garlic, if using
- Black pepper (and optional spices)
- Mix well until fully blended.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld.
- Serve cold with:
- Crackers, sliced baguette, or veggie sticks.
Hot Version (Baked & melty):
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer to a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Optional: Broil for the last 2–3 minutes for a lightly browned crust.
- Serve hot with:
- Toasted bread, pita chips, or pretzel bites.
