- 1 cup soft caramels (about 25–30 pieces)
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or milk in a pinch)
- 1 cup pretzels or crushed shortbread cookies (your choice!)
- Flaky sea salt (optional but highly recommended)
Instructions
- Melt the caramel:
Place the soft caramels and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each until fully melted and smooth. - Mix it all together:
Stir in the pretzels or crushed shortbread until everything is fully coated in the caramel. - Shape the bites:
Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, drop bite-sized mounds onto a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet. - Add the magic:
Sprinkle each bite with a pinch of flaky sea salt. - Chill:
Pop them in the fridge for 10 minutes to firm up.
