Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 4 tbsp custard powder (vanilla flavor works best)
- 4–5 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 small cup cream (optional, for extra richness)
- 1–2 tbsp seeds (chia seeds, basil seeds, or raisins)
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
- Prepare custard mix
- In a bowl, mix custard powder with ½ cup cold milk until smooth (no lumps).
- Heat milk
- Pour the remaining milk into a pot.
- Add sugar and heat gently.
- Thicken
- Slowly add the custard mixture while stirring constantly.
- Cook on low heat until it becomes thick and creamy (about 5 minutes).
- Add richness
- Stir in cream and vanilla for a smoother texture.
- Add seeds
- Mix in soaked seeds (chia or basil seeds work great).
- Cool & set
- Pour into glasses and let it cool.
- Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until thick and set.
