Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Amish Apricot Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the apricot preserves and dry onion soup mix until combined.
  3. Spoon the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 5–6 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
  5. Once the chicken is tender, spoon the sweet and savory sauce over the top before serving.

Serving Ideas

  • Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles.
  • Add steamed green beans or roasted carrots for an easy side dish.
