Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 large apples (Granny Smith works best), peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7-Up)

Instructions

  1. Prepare apples
    • Peel and cut apples into 8 slices each.
  2. Wrap apples
    • Separate crescent dough into triangles.
    • Place an apple slice on each triangle and roll it up.
  3. Place in slow cooker
    • Lightly grease the slow cooker.
    • Arrange the wrapped apple dumplings inside.
  4. Add sugar and soda
    • Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the dumplings.
    • Pour the soda around them (not directly on top).
  5. Cook
    • Cook on LOW for 2–3 hours until apples are soft and the sauce becomes syrupy.

Serve

  • Spoon some sauce over the dumplings.
  • Great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. 🍨
