Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
- Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
- Let the chops marinate for 15–30 minutes if time allows.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Reduce heat if needed to prevent the sugar from burning.
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Optional Oven Method
- Sear the pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side in an oven-safe skillet.
- Transfer to a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes, until cooked through.
