Delicious Brown Sugar Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  3. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
  4. Let the chops marinate for 15–30 minutes if time allows.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Reduce heat if needed to prevent the sugar from burning.
  8. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Optional Oven Method

  1. Sear the pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side in an oven-safe skillet.
  2. Transfer to a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven.
