Pull-Apart Garlic Butter Cheese Bread (Skillet Style)

Ingredients

For the dough
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp instant yeast
• ¾ cup warm milk or water
• 1 tbsp olive oil

For the filling
• 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Garlic butter
• 3 tbsp butter (melted)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tbsp parsley (optional)

Topping
• Sesame seeds (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the dough
Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl. Add warm milk and olive oil. Knead for 8–10 minutes until soft. Cover and let it rise 45–60 minutes.

2️⃣ Shape and fill
Divide dough into balls. Flatten each ball, place mozzarella in the center, and fold the dough around it. Gently flatten again.

3️⃣ Cook in skillet
Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook each bread 3–4 minutes per side until golden.

4️⃣ Add garlic butter
Mix melted butter with garlic and parsley. Brush over the hot bread and sprinkle sesame seeds.

✅ Serve hot so the cheese pulls apart when you tear the bread.

💡 Optional upgrades
• Add cream cheese with mozzarella
• Add chili flakes for spicy garlic bread
• Sprinkle parmesan on top
