Natural Clove and Garlic Infused Balm

Ingredients

  • 5–6 garlic cloves (lightly crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • ½ cup olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon beeswax pellets

Instructions

  1. Infuse the oil
    • Put garlic and cloves into a small saucepan with the olive or coconut oil.
    • Heat on very low heat for 20–30 minutes (do not boil).
  2. Strain
    • Remove from heat and strain the oil to remove the garlic and cloves.
  3. Make the balm
    • Return the infused oil to the pan.
    • Add beeswax and gently heat until melted.
  4. Pour and cool
    • Pour into a small jar or tin and let it cool until solid.

How to Use

  • Apply a small amount to minor skin irritations, insect bites, or dry skin.
  • Some people also rub it on the chest for a warming effect during colds.

⚠️ Safety tips

  • Always patch test first (garlic can irritate sensitive skin).
  • Do not apply to open wounds or near the eyes.
  • Stop use if irritation occurs.
