Ingredients
- 5–6 garlic cloves (lightly crushed)
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- ½ cup olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon beeswax pellets
Instructions
- Infuse the oil
- Put garlic and cloves into a small saucepan with the olive or coconut oil.
- Heat on very low heat for 20–30 minutes (do not boil).
- Strain
- Remove from heat and strain the oil to remove the garlic and cloves.
- Make the balm
- Return the infused oil to the pan.
- Add beeswax and gently heat until melted.
- Pour and cool
- Pour into a small jar or tin and let it cool until solid.
How to Use
- Apply a small amount to minor skin irritations, insect bites, or dry skin.
- Some people also rub it on the chest for a warming effect during colds.

- Always patch test first (garlic can irritate sensitive skin).
- Do not apply to open wounds or near the eyes.
- Stop use if irritation occurs.
