Cheesy Meat Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves garlic, minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned.
    • Drain excess grease.
    • Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Prepare the dough
    • Flatten each biscuit into a small circle.
  3. Fill
    • Add a spoonful of the cooked meat mixture to the center of each dough circle.
    • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  4. Roll and place
    • Fold or roll the dough around the filling.
    • Place seam-side down in a greased muffin tin.
  5. Add cheese topping
    • Sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Finish
    • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle parsley if desired.
