Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the apples: Peel and chop the apples into small pieces. Set them aside.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until combined.
  5. Fold in the apples: Gently fold the chopped apples into the batter, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve!
