Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chicken:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
    • Heat a large pan over medium heat, and add a little oil. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for a couple of minutes, and then slice it into thin strips.
  2. Prepare the Wraps:
    • Lay out your flour tortillas on a clean surface.
    • Brush each tortilla lightly with the melted garlic butter, ensuring to cover it evenly.
    • Sprinkle a small amount of garlic powder over the buttered tortillas for extra flavor.
  3. Assemble the Wraps:
    • Add a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese to the center of each tortilla.
    • Place the sliced chicken strips on top of the cheese.
    • Sprinkle a little grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
    • Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the edges as you go.
  4. Cook the Wraps:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
    • Once hot, place the wraps seam-side down to help them stay closed.
    • Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the wraps are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove from the skillet and slice the wraps in half.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve with a dipping sauce of your choice (such as ranch or marinara sauce).
