Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or any cheese you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons garlic butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prep the Chicken:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat, and add a little oil. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for a couple of minutes, and then slice it into thin strips.
- Prepare the Wraps:
- Lay out your flour tortillas on a clean surface.
- Brush each tortilla lightly with the melted garlic butter, ensuring to cover it evenly.
- Sprinkle a small amount of garlic powder over the buttered tortillas for extra flavor.
- Assemble the Wraps:
- Add a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese to the center of each tortilla.
- Place the sliced chicken strips on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle a little grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
- Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the edges as you go.
- Cook the Wraps:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Once hot, place the wraps seam-side down to help them stay closed.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the wraps are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Serve:
- Remove from the skillet and slice the wraps in half.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve with a dipping sauce of your choice (such as ranch or marinara sauce).
