Sliced Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the potatoes

  • Wash the potatoes well.
  • Slice them into thin round slices (about ¼ inch thick).

2. Season

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Add the potato slices and toss until well coated.

3. Arrange

  • Place the slices in a baking dish slightly overlapping in a circle (like the picture).

4. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until the potatoes are golden and crispy.

5. Finish

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and parsley on top.
  • Bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts.

6. Serve

Serve hot as a side dish or snack.

✅ Tip: For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.

  • Chili flakes
  • Italian herbs
