Tasty Apple pie

Ingredients

For the apples

  • 3–4 apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the batter

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g sugar (½ cup)
  • 120 ml milk (½ cup)
  • 120 g flour (1 cup)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional topping

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the apples

  1. Peel and slice the apples.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add apples, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Cook for 5–7 minutes until slightly soft and golden.

2. Make the batter

  1. In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light.
  2. Add milk and vanilla, mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Mix until you get a smooth batter.

3. Assemble

  1. Place the cooked apples evenly in a greased baking pan.
  2. Pour the batter over the apples.

4. Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.

5. Finish

  • Let it cool slightly.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

✅ Tip: Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra taste.
