Creamy Mandarin Orange Fluff Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz / ~425 g) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz / ~565 g) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (optional but traditional)
  • 1 tub (8 oz / 225 g) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Instructions

  1. Combine fruit
    In a large bowl, add the drained mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple.
  2. Add pudding mix
    Sprinkle the dry pudding mix over the fruit and stir well. It will thicken as it mixes with the fruit juices.
  3. Add the creamy ingredients
    Fold in cottage cheese, mini marshmallows, and whipped topping.
  4. Chill
    Refrigerate for 1–2 hours so the dessert thickens and flavors blend.
  5. Serve
    Gently stir and top with extra mandarin oranges before serving.

  • Add shredded coconut or chopped pecans for extra texture.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for cottage cheese if preferred.
