Honey Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread evenly on the baking sheet, cut side down.
  5. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. In a small bowl, mix garlic, honey, and soy sauce.
  7. Remove sprouts from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic mixture over them. Toss gently.
  8. Return to oven for another 5–8 minutes until caramelized and crispy.
  9. Serve warm with optional Parmesan or red pepper flakes.

Tips

  • For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Add chopped bacon or toasted pecans for more flavor.
  • Best served immediately while crispy.
