Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread evenly on the baking sheet, cut side down.
- Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic, honey, and soy sauce.
- Remove sprouts from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic mixture over them. Toss gently.
- Return to oven for another 5–8 minutes until caramelized and crispy.
- Serve warm with optional Parmesan or red pepper flakes.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Add chopped bacon or toasted pecans for more flavor.
- Best served immediately while crispy.
