Mini Quiche Bites Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of pre-made mini tart shells (or use a tart dough of your choice)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for a richer taste)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 1/4 cup diced vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, onions, spinach, or mushrooms)
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon or ham (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the tart shells: If you’re using pre-made tart shells, place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Make the filling: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Add in the diced vegetables, cheese, and bacon or ham (if using).
  4. Fill the shells: Spoon the egg mixture into the tart shells, filling them almost to the top.
  5. Bake the quiches: Place the filled tart shells in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and the tops are golden.
  6. Garnish and serve: Once baked, let the mini quiches cool slightly before garnishing with fresh herbs, such as chopped chives or parsley.
