Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient Beef and Cheese Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Layer the ingredients in the slow cooker: Add the browned beef to the slow cooker. Then, add the marinara sauce and uncooked pasta. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the pasta is tender and cooked through.
  4. Add the cheese: Once the pasta is cooked, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top. Stir to combine and allow the cheese to melt.
  5. Serve: Once the cheese has melted and everything is well combined, serve hot and enjoy!
